We had an awesome holiday weekend. Very busy and very fun. The kids camped out in our back yard in a tent, we grilled three days in a row, of course the kids made way too many smores, we spent the afternoon at the pool, we went to the fireworks and we had friends over Saturday night for drinks and sat around our fire pit talked until the early A.M.

It took me a a while but I finally found my daughter an inexpensive used iBook on Ebay that has everything included. The AC adapter, a battery that works, an airport card already installed, the original cd's and booklet, a 10 GB hard drive that has been wiped clean, a 640 MB memory and it runs Mac OS X. All from a seller with perfect feedback and under $200.00 with free shipping. Ebay rocks if you look hard enough! I think it took me four days of constant searching to find such a good deal. All I was finding at first was prices in the $400.00 range and there was no way I could do that so I kept searching. I love it when I find a good deal.
I am so excited to give it to her! I can't wait to see that UPS box!

My daughter is 21 years old today. I can't believe how fast time goes by. I know every one says that but it is just so true. I took her to Chili's this afternoon for a birthday lunch, just the two of us. She of course ordered a Strawberry Margarita. We took our time and did some chit chatting for a while. It was really nice.

I still can not believe I am old enough to have a 21 year old daughter!

Guess who has a photo shoot next weekend? Yep, my Princess, Foxy Roxy does!
A local photographer contacted me about a week ago and asked if I would let her take and use a few photos of Roxy. Of course I will get to keep a copy of them.  Of course I said yes!
I checked out her web site and she does great work so I am really excited. It's going to be fun!

I woke up with a nasty head cold two days ago and it is just getting worse and worse. Today it moved in to my ears, they are plugged up and ringing. It's pissing me off, big time.
 Because I can't afford to take a day off I have been going to work every day and still doing my job. Maybe that is why the cold is getting worse and not better. I think tomorrow if I don't feel any relief I will have to call my doctor and ask for an evening appointment.
Man I hate this. I am such a baby while sick. Thank goodness I have a super nice husband who is patient with me and super nice sister that has been helping by letting our daughter spend the week at her house. I am so lucky to have them both. Now if only I could be lucky and have my cold be on it's way out before the weekend gets here. That would just be great!

My husband loves his truck. I knew this when we first got married. When I say he loves his truck, I mean he loooves his truck. He loves  accessories for his truck. They make him happy. What's your best quality?

I honestly have no idea. I guess to know I should ask my sister and my husband. I'd like to say compassion or my honesty because I really pride myself on those quality. But I am really not sure how others see me. Does any one really know what other people see?
That's a hard question.
