I am taking tomorrow off work and I already have Thursday off because I have to work on Saturday. I'm looking forward to having a small break from work because last week was the longest week ever! I have my glucose test tomorrow at my OB's office - blah. Hopefully I pass. I've never not passed, but you never know. I just need to make sure I keep all sugars to a minimum tomorrow morning before I go.
I am so stinking tired today! I had a wonderful Turkey Day yesterday though. I napped when my daughter napped after we got home (around 4pm) and didn't get up until 6pm. Not smart when I had to be at work this morning at 8am. Blah. Yes, my company sucks and I have to work today and tomorrow from 8 to 4:30. I didn't even go to bed until 1am because I watched The Strangers with my husband and my oldest son. Tired doesn't even cover how I feel this morning. If I wasn't nearly 7 months pregnant it might not be so bad, but I would just LOVE to still be in my warm, cozy bed snuggling with my husband.
Where will you be eating Thanksgiving Dinner this year?
I get two Thanksgiving dinners every year and I don't even have to cram them into one day. We have dinner at my parents house on Thanksgiving day and we also have Thanksgiving dinner at my mother-in-law's house the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I'm sure much of my pregnancy weight will be put on over the next month with all the holiday food!
Well, it's taken me longer than most to get into the Twilight series by
Stephenie Meyer, but it was well worth the wait. I've finished the
first two books in just a handful of days and I'm dying to get to work
tomorrow (I NEVER say that) so I can get the third book from a
co-worker. I am totally in love with this series; more than any other
I've read before. It's been an agonizing day wishing I hadn't finished
New Moon in one day yesterday. I should have tried to drag it out a
little longer over the weekend.
Tell us how you met your significant other.
Submitted by Luda
I met my husband at The Trolley Stop, a local bar, on a Sunday night during Karaoke. That was 6 years ago. The bar has since closed down; which is sad because it had been there as long as I remember.
This was us in the beginning:
It's been almost a year since I've been here. I had totally forgotten about this place. What reminded me was an incoming hit to my blog from here. Lots has changed since I was last here. I'm 6 months pregnant - which is probably the most significant difference. We're having another baby girl.
OK, well.. I'm going to search around for a bit and see what's going on. Hopefully I won't forget about this place again.
Were your holiday cards store bought, handmade, online, TBD or MIA?
Store bought. In fact, I didn't even buy them. My mother gave me a box of extra cards because I told her I was going to send Christmas cards this year and she decided to give me what she had. Isn't she the sweetest?
I totally almost forgot about this blog. Geez, what kind of person am I? I update my main blog on a daily basis and I was doing good here for a bit, but then I guess it somehow slipped my mind.
I'm so sorry, Vox. I'll try to be a better Vox blogger from now on.
What's your favorite thing to drink when it's cold outside?
Coffee! Lots and lots of coffee. Unless it's a drinking night - then B&B warms me like an electric blanket.
What were your top 10 favorite songs or albums of 2007?
There is no way that I can limit this list to a mere 10 songs or artists or albums. And I certainly can't put them all into one category such as "favorite," but I will list some of the albums that I have enjoyed listening to throughout this past year.
